Chelsea Town Hall Wedding for Raj & Anna

What a fabulously fun and laughter filled day photographing Raj and Anna’s close family and friends wedding at Chelsea Town Hall and afterwards at Zaika in Kensington.
I started off at their home in Gunnersbury where they got ready together with the help of Raj’s sister, a quick visit to Gunnersbury park for some pictures together, back to the house and then into a very long limo that first of all got stuck trying to do a three point turn in their road (I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more stressed driver) and then drove us to the reception venue in Kensington, not to Chelsea Town Hall in the King’s Road!
Raj and Anna kept their nerve and the champagne flowed and we got there in the end and they were married!
Afterwards everyone gathered for a meal in a private dining room at Kensington’s Zaika, a wonderfully atmospheric wood-panelled former bank now a restaurant serving modern Indian cuisine with silk drapes, Indian antiques and artworks everywhere.
Raj and Anna had been a long journey to this wedding and Raj’s parents were not present, but with their fantastically happy and joyful friends, and Anna’s family, love definitely stole the day.
A wonderful couple and I felt really proud and privileged to cover this big moment in their lives.

If you are planning a small, intimate wedding - perhaps due to the current covid restrictions, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you and photograph you day. I have photographed lots of weddings at Chelsea Town Hall too so please ask to see more.
