Baby’s First Year - Family & Baby Photography at 8-months-old, Teddington TW11

Thank you doesn’t seem enough for all the wonderful pictures of Hannah at 8 months. We are absolutely over the moon with everything and the family book is the ‘cherry on top of the cake’ - so beautiful. You have managed to capture her personality coming through and all those wonderful facial expressions and also her learning to crawl! The time we spent with you was as always, great and now we have these wonderful images and memories to treasure.

I had such a wonderful time again, after photographing Hannah when she was a newborn, for a session at 8 months at the family home in Teddington. 8-10 months is a great juncture in baby’s first year to take photos. As you can see, Hannah is starting to crawl, is really connecting with mum and dad and the world around her and full of intrigue and expressions. It’s a magical time when your baby’s character is really starting to come through. We spent most of the time in the comfort and ease of the family home with everything to hand around us and with breaks for lunch and naps. Then when Hannah woke up, we headed out to Bushy Park for some more pictures in the sunshine.

If you are expecting a baby and thinking about planning some photography to record his or her’s first year, I’d love to hear from you. I recommend 1-3 shoots in the first year: within the first 10 days of life, at around 3-months-old and at 8-10 months before they are starting to walk.
