We didn’t want a video of our day. It was all about the photos for us and they were very important. Anna was fantastic. I actually forgot she was around for the majority of the day. She shot photos of things we didn’t see, she took the group photos we wanted but quickly so that everyone enjoyed the process. Our portrait walkabout was fun and are a joy. Everyone has been amazed by the photos.

Ours was a slightly unusual brief reflecting our unconventional style; with a mix of the formal and just plain fun with friends and loved ones. We planned for a really special weekend to celebrate our civil partnership and John’s 40th birthday the next day with various friends and some flying in from the USA. We arranged a small scale Town Hall ceremony followed by some drinks at home and a helicopter tour over the city. The next day we hosted a party on a barge in Battersea just along the Thames just up from where we live.
We considered various options including filming and handing out disposable cameras. In the end, we selected Anna as our photographer and we are so glad that we did. Her advice and professionalism are exceptional. The end product sublime. Anna got along superbly well with all the guests; just blending in and capturing so many wonderful moments. Overall it was just a perfect weekend, and thanks to Anna’s photography we have wonderful images to record those memories forever.
