Portraits with Context info & pricing

Creative & imaginative Portrait Sessions

I’ve worked with Anna on two occasions. Her intelligence, sensibilities and on-location experience made it remarkably easy. She was able to capture the exact feeling I was looking for, with her creativity and unique eye. Extremely professional, she is also an artist, who I truly recommend.

As well as Headshots, I can also provide what are often called ‘Environmental’ Portraits where we can create some images of you with context that communicate more message about you and your activities. They might be destined for a website, to accompany some literature, for an event you are planning, for general press or publicity purposes, a book jacket or album cover, or simply for personal use. Headshots are also included in the session if desired.

Your portraits might need a specific location or venue, a specific kind of light or lighting, the use of props, or other visual indicators - explicit or implicit - or it might be creating a very specific mood, character or atmosphere using expressions, light and movement. Often it is a mix of elements.

Sometimes my clients have a clear idea of what they want to achieve. Often clients ask me to formulate ideas to visually interpret the message or messages they want to get across. I work with you to conceive and plan ahead of the session and then collaboratively with you on the day. Often new ideas for pictures come about on the day by taking time and thinking creatively ‘in the moment.

My aim is to take to produce images that are specific, relevant, impactful, intriguing, atmospheric, different and that crucially deliver the right visual mood and tone for you.

Afterwards, in the post-production work I carry out on the images, there are many creative opportunities to further enhance and manipulate the images if that is required or desired.
