Summer family photography at home and by the sea

I joined Ann and her family as they spent a late summer’s day together with a whole bunch of activities and fun to entertain their gorgeous 3 year-old. Firstly at their farmhouse surrounded by rolling Suffolk countryside and afterwards by the sea at Walberswick in Suffolk.
Everything about my family photography is child- and family-led. We may come together for some family portraits when the mood and moment feels right but for the majority of the time I am capturing moments as they happen naturally. Moments of spontaneous togetherness, individual relationships, quirky moments that reveal their character, high activity and beautiful quiet portraits.
Time spent together not in an anonymous studio but naturally and in places that were real - creating a record of childhood, love and family life to cherish and hand down the generations.
